Creating a Job Pool

Create a job pool for Batch.

1. On the Batch contexts list page, select the batch context that you want to create the job pool in. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Batch Contexts.
2. On the batch context details page, select the Job pools tab.
3. Select Add job pool.
4. On the Create job pool page, provide the following details:
  
  Name: Enter a name.
  
  Compartment: Select the compartment in which you want to create the job pool.
  
  Description: Provide a brief description.
5. (Optional) In the Tags section, select Add Tag to apply one or more tags to job pool. If you have permissions to create a resource, then you also have permissions to apply free-form tags to that resource. To apply a defined tag, you must have permissions to use the tag namespace. For more information about tagging, see Resource Tags. If you're not sure whether to apply tags, skip this option or ask an administrator. You can apply tags later.
6. Select Create.

Use the oci batch batch-job-pool create command and required parameters to get a create a job pool:
oci batch batch-job-pool create [OPTIONS]
